Itinerary

November 26—Manhattan/Broadway: Your holiday visit to the “Big Apple” will begin after you settle in at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers—your accommodations for the next 3 nights.

Then get ready for your first taste of Broadway. At our welcome luncheon you’ll meet your fellow travelers.

Then we’re off to the Upper Westside to join the crowd gathered for a peek behind the scenes to see how they inflate those amazing giant balloons that appear in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Afterwards we’ll take you back to midtown via an abbreviated Holiday Lights tour. Meals included: L.

November 27—Thanksgiving Day Parade: It’s parade day in New York! As frantic New Yorkers get up early and rush to stake out their space along the parade route, you’ll be Eatin’ Good in the Neighborhoood® at this exclusive Insider’s View Parade Breakfast at Applebee’s.

Space has been reserved here for you to enjoy a leisurely full hot breakfast buffet in comfort while you wait for the parade to start.

You’ll catch your breath as you watch the balloon wranglers guide these floating giants along the narrow parade route. Enjoy the very best in high school and college marching bands, along with specialty youth performance groups. Plus, see top name stars and celebrities from the television, film and music industries. After the Parade, we’ll leave the street crowds behind for a breathtaking view of New York City from the Top of the Rock observation deck, 70 stories directly above Rockefeller Plaza. From up here, you can spot the world-famous Chrysler Building, Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty.

Then explore the architectural marvel that is Rockefeller Center. Located in the middle of the Theater District, Rockefeller Center has been described as “the heart of New York.” This landmark is often photographed during the holidays because it’s situated under the famed Rockefeller Plaza’s Christmas Tree, which twinkles with thousands of lights from the last week of November to early January.

Then get ready for a very special night on the town. We’ll cross the Hudson River to the New Jersey side and the sumptuous Thanksgiving feast that has been prepared for you. The towers of Manhattan gleam in the distance, their reflections shimmering in the Hudson. Meals included: B, D.

November 28—Big Apple Sightseeing: We’ll spend today on a Big Apple sightseeing excursion guided by native New York tour guides who are knowledgeable and passionate about the city, its diversity, energy and strength and proud to share it. Some of the Manhattan sights included are Central Park, The Museum of Natural History, Empire State Building, Wall Street, Battery Park and Ground Zero.

This evening we’ll enjoy a delectable dinner at the charming Center Stage Cafe, filled with Broadway memorabilia and murals that will have you feeling as if you’re sitting center aisle in the theater.

Then we’ll actually take our theater seat at the Radio City Music Hall for an exciting Christmas Spectacular performance featuring the world’s most famous chorus line—the Radio City Rockettes. Meals included: B, D.

November 29—Departure: Following breakfast, you’ll have free time to stroll and shop before departing with fond Thanksgiving memories you’ll never forget! Meals included: B.
